Large windows let in the natural light, but the lighting was very dim after it gets dark. The restaurant now looks more modern, yet still feels warm. We finally made it back to Flour+Water after their remodeling. I’ve posted just a few pictures of the work there as I believe it’s best viewed in person. The staff is very knowledgeable and more tan willing to answer any questions you have! Will be looking forward to utilizing my newly acquired membership this coming year! Don’t forget to look at the pieces on display in the sculpture garden while enjoying your refreshment. The cafe is a good place to grab a refresher if you need one. It’s a great experience and best seen in bright hours of mid day! The time is sufficient but not enough to mess about. They do ask that you keep your mask on as the ventilation is not that great. Each direction offers a different array of colors for the eye to enjoy. Each group gets just over 1 minute to go out and back. The sky color bridge is amazing! It’s located on the 5th floor and gets busy at times. (Not that we didn’t discuss pieces as we were walking around) We found that it was a good time to talk about the collections on the previous floor we had just walked through. Elevators are available but the stairs are very nice and hardly crowded. The museum is well laid out and easy to navigate. The variation of art on display post WWII is nothing short of astonishing. A welcoming formal entry invites you toward the grand living room double parlor featuring big windows, ornate fireplace surround, period ceiling medallions complimented with brand new modern light fixtures, and an easy flow toward the back bedroom, and flexible space to accommodate a formal dining area, media room and/or work space.This museum is phenomenal.
